AMS Clipboard functionality tip: Copying & Pasting previous notes into a consult

The Clipboard functionality can be used when entering data for a user on the AMS when accessed through a web browser. The clipboard allows you to copy data from one record to another for the same event form. Only one record can be saved to the clipboard at a time. Values pasted via the clipboard can be edited.

To utilise the clipboard, follow these steps and watch the video above:

1. Open a new consult entry for an athlete.
2. Scroll down to the Historical Consults section and click "yes" to see previous consults & shared notes.
3. Use the discipline selector to limit the consult history notes to just your discipline.
4. Search within the table for the record you want to copy and click on the row to go to that record.
5. Hover over the "Edit" tab in the top left of the screen and select "Copy to Clipboard".
6. Return to your blank consult entry and scroll back to the top and again hover over the "Edit" tab in the top left of the screen, however this time select "Paste from Clipboard".
7. IMPORTANT: as this will paste all details of the previous record, you WILL NEED TO change the "Date of Consult" back to the current date.
8. You can then edit these notes or continue to complete the consult form as per normal.
