AMS Coach Dashboard
We have recently released the NEW AMS Coach Dashboard. This now forms part of our layout applied to coaches and staff which places the dashboard front and centre on their home screen. Users will see it as soon as they log in.
Funnelling Data into Visualisations
The Dashboard acts as a funnel where centralised forms are updated by all sports forms and integrations with wearable devices and other software platforms. The data to power the dashboards are supplied by the following forms;
• Shared Communications
• AMS Training Log
• AMS Wellness Report
Gold Standard Workflow
Here is a diagram that visualises how data is integrated and entered into AMS to be visualised from a central location.
The Dashboard has 3 Different Tabs..
Continue reading for an overview of the Coach Dashboard, explaining what information it contains and how to interpret the displayed visuals.
TAB 1: SHARED COMMUNICATIONS
Shared Communication tab displays a feed of incoming information about the group you have loaded in a chronological order.
You can use the filters along the top of the table to narrow down the information displayed. For example for one particular athlete, for only desired disciplines or between certain dates.
It allows for multiple performance team staff/disciplines and high performance staff to log critical information, that is accessible to multiple roles. Typically it contains pertinent information that performance team members and other staff working with the athlete should know.
TAB 2: GROUP
This tab is presented as an overview of your group that you have loaded. It combines their main points of training and monitoring information into the one spot so you don’t have to unnecessarily go through each athlete individually.
It’s a good way to quickly get an overview of how the athletes in your group are tracking, be alerted to any issues that may need to be followed up and also compare athletes in your group.
It Visualises;
- An indication with which of your athletes are engaging with AMS.
- Any flags raised from monitoring information.
- Open Injuries and the current status from the shared communications feed.
- Training session status
- Weekly Training volume (Duration)
- Rolling Changes % - Last 7d vs this time last week for Session Load, Duration and Sleep Duration.
AMS ENGAGEMENT
These tables give you as a coach a quick insight in to which of your athletes are engaging with AMS. You can click on the entry to bring up more details.
- Training Entries = Latest session status (Number of Sessions that day)
- Monitoring Entries = Entered via sport form or an integration (Entry Tick or Flagged Issue)
For Training days with one session the details will be displayed on their own in the pop up and for days with multiple sessions they will be listed in a table.
MONITORING FLAGS & INJURIES
Flags are triggered from enabled monitoring forms. You can click on the flag to bring up more details. It will show a pop up containing the latest entry flag detail and flag rating. The rating column is conditionally formatted. The Darker the red the more severe the flag rating by the athlete
The Open Injuries List is populated from shared communications.
The Wellness Flags donut is a tally of the entered flags over the last 4 weeks and are categorised by the flag type. eg. Illness, fatigue, soreness or injury.
TRAINING STATS
The training status donut gives you an indication of the portion of different session status’s recorded within the last 4 weeks (Mon - Sun) by all your athletes in your loaded group. The next horizontal bar chart breaks the missed and modified sessions down by week.
The second horizontal bar chart is a total of training duration for your whole group. The overall number can be effected by numerous reasons but can tell a story of what is happening to your group as a whole.
ROLLING CHANGES
The three bar charts place your group in a ranked order of rolling change. (Last 7 days vs this time last week) At the top and bottom of these charts will be your athletes with the most change wether that be positive or negative.
eg. The athlete at the top of the load change chart below has completed 50% more session load than this time last week.
WEEKLY OVERVIEW
This table is full of information for all your athletes loaded in your group that is filtered by week. To load different weeks simply click on the dropdown and select the week (Monday’s date) to load it. It’s a good way to quickly compare athletes in your group.
You can also;
- Click on the metrics to show more details.
- Sort by any column to rank athletes in the table by clicking on the heading.
