NEW: AMS Landing Page Navigation
A CONSISTENT USER INTERFACE
Practitioners will now experience a standardised AMS landing page, regardless of their discipline or sport.
While the overall structure remains the same, the data displayed will be customized based on each user’s primary discipline.
The following article will cover:
- Improved accessibility to key data entry forms directly from the landing page.
- Continued easy access to essential dashboards from the landing page.
- A streamlined dashboard design that maintains a consistent look and feel across all disciplines while ensuring key data is readily available.
DATA ENTRY OPTIONS
Practitioners now have three data entry methods, depending on the nature of the information they need to enter into the AMS:
1. Common Data Entry Forms
- Favorite Events Direct Entry – Frequently used forms can be saved to a user's front page for quick access.
- By hovering over the form icon and clicking “Enter Data”, practitioners can select the relevant athlete and immediately begin entering information.
- Users can customise which favorite events are positioned on their landing page by following the steps here.
2. Less Common Data Entry Forms
-
-
- "Enter Data for Athlete" Tab – Practitioners can select an athlete and then search for the required form. This method remains a widely used approach for entering athlete-specific data.
-
3. Accessing Existing Data
- Practitioners can click on an entry record from the landing page dashboard to view the original data entry. From there, they can review, edit, or add additional data as needed.
DATA CONSUMPTION - DASHBOARDS
Dashboards remain the most effective way to view data. Practitioners can easily access them through three different methods:
1. Favorite Dashboards Section
Frequently used dashboards, including current discipline front page dashboards and sport-specific dashboards, can be stored here for quick access. Users can customise this section to fit their needs.
2. Landing Page Dashboard
Each discipline-specific landing page dashboard displays key data sources identified by discipline leads and working groups. Critical sections, such as "Action Items" and "Shared Comms," ensure that essential information is readily available.
3. Dashboards Tab
Less frequently used dashboards can still be accessed via the search functionality in the “DASHBOARDS” tab located along the top ribbon.
DATA CONSUMPTION - REPORTS
Reports can still be accessed using the search functionality within the “REPORTS” tab located in the top navigation ribbon.
No changes have been made to this aspect of the AMS, ensuring a familiar and consistent user experience.
