Coaches Medical Screening

This Screening solution is for Sports to implement when wanting to medically evaluate Staff/Coaches/Officials often in readiness for tours and compliance.

Data Protection

A multi site data entry and smart-flow process has been created to ensure data security.

Data entry via Coach: https://ams.ausport.gov.au/staff

Data review by Doctor: https://ams.ausport.gov.au/asc

Data flow: Officials Medical Screening -> Information Transition Officials -> Officials Medical Clearance.

 

Coach / Official Screening Entry

Coaches are to log in and enter the "Officials Medical Screening" form via the STAFF site: https://ams.ausport.gov.au/staff. Use the same AMS user that you use on ASC or NIN AMS sites. 

Once logged in select the Officials Medical Screening form via your favourites or data entry. After submitting this form your CMO will be able to review via their secure login only. 

 

Doctor Screening Review

The screening form is designed to be completed by the coach/official and if no data is flagged, then it is automatically cleared by the system. Should one data point be flagged, then a Team Doctor is required to view the record and decide how to progress things forward; clear the official, call the official or request the official goes to a GP for clearance. The review process is completed

Steps

  1. Login via your AMS user on the /asc site: https://ams.ausport.gov.au/asc 
  2. Load your sports "Staff" Group.eg. "Skate Staff". Groups are located in the top right corner of your screen. 
  3. Once loaded navigate to the Dashboards module and search for the "Coaches Medical Screening" dashboard.
  4. Doctors can view the Screening entry and clearance status in the table. If needing to review the record, select the particular "Clearance Status" field and then Go to record.
  5. Once in the record, enter in the Doctors Review table and save.
