What is a role?
A role is what provides users access to data sources
CMS Specific Roles
Support - For AMS Staff only
ICDP - Admin - Provides access to all current and historical data and provides access to all dashboards.
ICDP - Coach Development Lead - Role for CD Leads or facilitators
ICDP - Coach - Role for Coaches
Group as a Coach?
If an account has access to a Group as Coach they will be able to view all data for users within that group.
Group as an Athlete?
If an account has access to a Grup as an Athlete they will be grouped with other users listed as Athletes and coaches of that group will have access to all data entered.
Relevance:
Coaches should be added to groups as Athletes
CD Facilitators should be added to groups as Coaches
Creating Users:
1. Email ams@ausport.gov.au and provide the first name, last name and DOB of the coach you are wanting to create/link to the CMS site. If the user is on the ASC site it will be linked to the CMS and then available to add roles & groups to.
2. If the coach does not exist on the ASC site you will need to create the coaches account.
3. Navigate to the CMS Admin site https://ams.ausport.gov.au/cms/admin
4. Select "People"
5. Select "Create New Person"
6. Complete the required fields in Red
7. Once the coach account is created you can add the required Roles & Groups.
Adding/Removing Roles & Groups from Existing Users:
1. Navigate to the CMS Admin website https://ams.ausport.gov.au/cms/admin
2. Search for the account you are looking to update via People and the search filters in the left-hand panel.
3. Once you have found the correct user click into their account and scroll down to the bottom of the account where there is a roles & groups section.
4. To remove a group or role select the Remove button next to the group or role.
5. To add a group or a role either type the desired group or role into the search bar or select the "Add Multiple Roles" & "Add Multiple Groups" the select box shown below will appear providing you with all options available.
