1. Shared Comms Selective Sharing
PREVIOUS SHARED COMMS WORKFLOW
GLOBALISED DATA SHARING
In the current AMS system, there are a number of regular data collection forms with "Shared Comms" text boxes within them.
Only when information is entered into these "Shared Comms" text boxes will this information flow into a centralised Information Transition form.
This is then linked across to a Shared Communication form that ALL disciplines have access to.
NEW SHARED COMMS WORKFLOW
CUSTOMISED DATA SHARING
In the NEW AMS Consult Workflow, the practitioner will have the ability to:
- Choose what information to share, and
- Which discipline to share this information with.
Athlete consent regarding the sharing of anything from a consultation will always be required to be ticked as "Yes" or "No" before a record can be saved or shared.
This is the key section within EACH discipline consult form whereby a practitioner can choose if and who they share information with and what information they will to share.
In this scenario (below), the practitioner has NOT chosen to share any notes directly recorded from within the consult form, therefore keeping these notes confidential only to practitioners to the same discipline who have access to that athlete.
In this same scenario (below), whilst the practitioner has NOT chosen to share notes directly recorded from within the consult form, they have decided to enter an "additional shared note" which they would like to share with other disciplines.
You will see that by entering notes into this field, the consult summary note to be shared now reflects the practitioner's choice.
In this scenario (below), the practitioner HAS chosen to share notes directly recorded from within the consult form.
NOTE: Each disciplines Consult Form will have different field options to select from to create their Consult Summary Note.
Whilst they can choose to share their notes as well, in this scenario the practitioner HAS chosen to share ONLY the “Plan” from their consultation.
You will see that by selecting only this option, the consult summary note to be shared now reflects the practitioner's choice.
In this scenario (below), the practitioner HAS chosen to share notes directly recorded from within the consult form, BUT ONLY wants to share the “Plan” along with an “Additional Shared Note”.
You will see that by selecting only this option and typing in some additional information, the consult summary note to be shared now reflects the practitioner's choice.
The new consult workflow will allow practitioners to link relevant records within other forms (e.g. injuries, athlete questionnaires, testing data, attachments etc.) to this consult form to provide a consolidated and all-encompassing report.
In this scenario (below), the practitioner HAS chosen to include the summary notes from the linked “Allergies” form along with the shared notes from their “Consult Form” which they would like to share with other disciplines.
You will see that by selecting this option, the consult summary note to be shared now reflects the practitioner's choice.
Once a practitioner has:
(a) discussed with the athlete sharing information from this consultation and received their consent, and
(b) Selected what information they are going to share with other practitioners,
they can now choose who to share their notes with.
In this scenario (below), the practitioner has decided to share with ALL Staff who have access to the athlete.
The practitioner can now click “Save” to save their record and trigger the system to share the consult summary.
In this scenario (below), the practitioner has decided to ONLY share with other practitioners who have Doctor, Physio or Coach roles within the AMS and who have access to the athlete.
The practitioner can now click “Save” to save their record and trigger the system to share the consult summary to ONLY those practitioners they have selected.
