1. Shared Comms Explanation
Clarification on the "Shared Comms" Section of the AMS Workflow
During the roll-out of the new AMS workflow, one of the most common areas of confusion has been the "Shared Comms" section on each discipline’s landing page.
When a discipline completes its consult form and chooses specific details to share with other disciplines, the full consult summary appears only on their own landing page dashboard. For any other discipline receiving shared information, only the selected details (e.g., the plan or diagnosis summary) will be visible — not the full consult.
We want to re-emphasise that:
-
No data has ever been incorrectly shared or viewed by any practitioner — whether sending or receiving as a result of the systems configuration.
-
No changes have been required to this section regarding data integrity or security.
To help clarify how this works, we’ve included a visual example:
In the example below, a Physio enters an injury consultation and selects to share only the “Plan” and linked “Injury Diagnosis” record summary with the Nutrition, S&C, and Coaching disciplines. These practitioners will only see those two shared elements — not the full consultation that will be visible to the Doctor and Physio disciplines.
Doctors and Physio's Landing Page Dashboard view:
The entire consult summary will be visible

Nutrition / S&C / Coach Landing Page Dashboard views:
ONLY the shared components of the form are visible
2. Availability Status Update
We're pleased to share this feature is now up and running the current setup is as follows:
Each morning at 1am, the system performs a sweep of the AMS and generates a single record reflecting the "current worst availability status" for any open Injury Diagnosis. This status is then displayed in the "Athlete Injury Status" section on the landing page dashboards, providing an accurate snapshot of both individual athlete and squad availability at the start of each day.
The status will not update through the day as you make changes. We intend to make this status update through the day in the near future.
3. Landing Page Customisation Reminder
Another commonly raised concern across the network has been the sudden change in landing pages—from sport-specific or bespoke dashboards to the more generic, discipline-based dashboards.
Practitioners will now see a standardised AMS landing page design, regardless of their sport or discipline. This change has been made to:
- Improve access to key data entry forms directly from the landing page.
- Ensure a consistent look and feel for all AMS users across different disciplines.
While landing pages have been standardised, dashboards remain the most effective way to view and analyse data. Practitioners are therefore encouraged to personalise their experience by adding frequently used sport-specific or bespoke dashboards as tiles in the "Favourite Dashboards" section.
How to Add Quick Links to Your Landing Page:
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select “Account” to open your profile.
- Scroll down to the Favourite Events and Favourite Dashboards sections.
- Click “ADD” to choose the forms and dashboards you’d like to appear on your landing page.
Customising your landing page in this way will improve efficiency and provide quicker access to the tools you use most.
4. Athlete History vs Report Module
We understand that during the data entry process, there are times when practitioners may need to save an incomplete entry and return to it later. However, the absence of the left-hand sidebar has caused some confusion around how to locate and return to these saved records. We are continuing to work with disciplines to identify the most efficient workflows, but in the meantime, records can be accessed in the following ways:
How to Access Saved Records:
-
From the Landing Page Dashboard
Click directly on the relevant record displayed in your landing page dashboard.
Note: You can only edit records entered by your discipline within the predefined 72-hour save & lock window. -
In the Favourite Events section; Form Tile – "Athlete History"
Hover over the tile of the form in question and select "Athlete History".
Then, search for and select the athlete, locate the record, and click through to access it. -
Through the "Report" Module
Select the "Report" module from the top blue navigation bar.
Use the filters on the left-hand side to choose the relevant form and athlete, then click through to view or edit the record.
5. Injury & Illness Backdating Update
A brief update on the progress of back-dating historic Injury and Illness records:
-
Injury records have been back-dated to: [January 2019]
-
Illness records have been back-dated to: [January 2019]
The linking process—which connects diagnoses to consultation entries—remains ongoing.
Important Notes:
-
Linking delays on dashboards: The linking of diagnoses to consults is progressing faster behind the scenes than what is currently reflected on the landing page dashboards.
If a consult appears unlinked in the dashboard, we recommend opening the record directly—most likely, the linked diagnosis will be visible within the entry. -
No fixed completion timeline: At present, we cannot provide an exact timeline for when all records will be fully up to date. We kindly ask that you check individual records before flagging any missing links.
-
Incorrect "Entered By" names on consults:
Some practitioners have reported incorrect practitioner names appearing on consultation records. This stems from a quirk in the old workflow: when a recurrent injury or illness was entered, the system automatically pulled in the name of the original diagnosing practitioner. This incorrect metadata was carried through during the import process. We’ve since re-processed most of these entries and are now waiting for the system queue to clear before all updates take effect.
6. How to link to a Historical Consult - Doc & Physio
DOCTORS & PHYSIOS
- During (or after) the completion of the Injury Diagnosis form, a practitioner can scroll to the final section titled "Consult Notes". Here, they will find the "Link" functionality, and by clicking on this button all consults will be opened and one or multiple entries can be selected and linked.
