3. Site Upgrade and Navigation changes
PREVIOUS AMS LANDING PAGE EXAMPLE
A DIVERSE RANGE OF LANDING PAGES
Previously, the AMS landing page layout and functionality vary significantly across disciplines and sports, leading to inconsistencies both between and within practitioner groups.
These inconsistencies present several challenges:
- Collaboration Barriers – Practitioners struggle to locate and reference the same data their colleagues are using, making collaboration more difficult.
- Onboarding Difficulties – The lack of a standardized interface complicates the onboarding process for new practitioners.
- Limited Cross-Discipline Support – The diverse layouts prevent colleagues from easily assisting practitioners in other disciplines, as navigation differs significantly.
These challenges underscore the need for a more consistent and unified AMS platform to enhance usability, collaboration, and efficiency.
NEW AMS LANDING PAGE EXAMPLE
A CONSISTENT USER INTERFACE
Practitioners will now experience a standardized AMS landing page, regardless of their discipline or sport.
While the overall structure remains the same, the data displayed will be customized based on each user’s primary discipline.
The following sections will cover:
- Improved accessibility to key data entry forms directly from the landing page.
- Continued easy access to essential dashboards from the landing page.
- A streamlined dashboard design that maintains a consistent look and feel across all disciplines while ensuring key data is readily available.
Data Entry
Practitioners now have three data entry methods, depending on the nature of the information they need to enter into the AMS:
1. Common Data Entry Forms
- Favorite Events Direct Entry – Frequently used forms can be saved to a user's front page for quick access.
- By hovering over the form icon and clicking “Enter Data”, practitioners can select the relevant athlete and immediately begin entering information.
2. Less Common Data Entry Forms
- "Enter Data for Athlete" Tab – Practitioners can select an athlete and then search for the required form. This method remains a widely used approach for entering athlete-specific data.
3. Accessing Existing Data
- Practitioners can click on an entry record from the landing page dashboard to view the original data entry. From there, they can review, edit, or add additional data as needed.

REPORTS:
Reports can still be accessed using the search functionality within the “REPORTS” tab located in the top navigation ribbon.
No changes have been made to this aspect of the AMS, ensuring a familiar and consistent user experience.
CUSTOMISING YOUR LANDING PAGE
LANDING PAGE CUSTOMISATION
An often underutilised feature in the AMS system is the ability to add quick-links for Favorite Events and Favorite Dashboards to your landing page. These quick-links significantly improve data entry efficiency and navigation across the system and are highly recommended for all users.
How to Add Quick-Links:
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select “Account” to open your account profile.
- Scroll down to the Favorite Events and Favorite Dashboards sections.
- Click “ADD” to choose which forms and dashboards you want to appear on your landing page.
While in your account settings, it’s also a good opportunity to review and update your personal details, such as date of birth, email address, and phone number, to ensure accuracy.
This customisation enhances efficiency and ensures quick access to essential tools.
