ANALYSING: MinimaX and Phones
Analysing MinimaX and Phones
To analyse a minimaX, go to IMPORTS then click on the three dots on the right hand side and then edit
VIP - Note: if the session structure has changed please edit that in the session (e.g. if they have done a different distance for a certain effort or an additional effort) please change that before you start editing. Any changes to the session structure post mark-up will results in all mark-ups lost
GPS V ODO
- The automatic default is via GPS (lat-long in Logan)
- If the effort is not straight prior to analyzing each effort click on ODO and it will use velocity x time
Standing Starts
- Zoom in on the start of the effort you want to analyse like in Logan
- Thenclick in the start boxfor that effort
- Thenclick on the exact point on the graphthat you want Ludum to take as the starting point
- Thenclick in the end box for that effort. Based on how you set the effort up by time or distance it will calculate automatically
- Once it has been analysed an! will pop upnext to effort number and you can double check the time and distance
- Repeat for the next effort - zoom in on the start of the next effort, click in start, then click on where you want it to start in the graph then click on end
Rolling Starts
- Zoom in on the end of the effort you want to analyse like in Logan
- Thenclick in the end boxfor that effort
- Thenclick on the exact pointon the graph that you want Ludum to take as the end point
- Thenclick in the start box for that effort. Based on how you set the effort up by time or distance it will calculate automatically
- Once it has been analysed an! will pop upnext to effort number and you can double check the time and distance
- Note:Very occasionally for rolling starts the distance may under or over read in the ! pop-up box. If this is the case then manually adjust the start time to get the distance or time you are wanting
- Repeat for the next effort - zoom in on the finish of the next effort, click in start, then click on where you want it to finish in the graph then click on start in the box
Other Notes or Additional Race Details
Notes Reporting
- In the above image there is a up arrow at the top right of the screen (under coaches)
- When you click on that a box expands to add in Notes
- You can add any additional information into this box
- For racing it is suggested like weather you use an excel spreadsheet and collate the following information: Lane number the athlete raced in, what place they came in the race, the winning time of whoever won the race and the official time that athlete was recorded doing
