Favourite Events
An often underutilised feature in the AMS system is the ability to add quick-links for Favorite Events and Favorite Dashboards to your landing page. These quick-links significantly improve data entry efficiency and navigation across the system and are highly recommended for all users.
The favourite events option means you can choose any number of event forms as favourites. When a form is selected here, it gets promoted to your home page in a few different ways to make it easier for you to access.
If you’re viewing AMS using the web application, favourite events will show up as items on your home page. You can select each favourite form then choose to enter a new record or go to the history for that form.
You can have an unlimited number of favourite events. An administrator may also set favourite events for you.
How to Add Quick-Links:
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select “Account” to open your account profile.
- Scroll down to the Favorite Events and Favorite Dashboards sections.
- Click “ADD” to choose which forms and dashboards you want to appear on your landing page.
- Once completed, select 'Save'.
While in your account settings, it’s also a good opportunity to review and update your personal details, such as date of birth, email address, and phone number, to ensure accuracy.
This customisation enhances efficiency and ensures quick access to essential tools.
