Oura Authorisation Instructions for Athletes
Follow the steps below to enable the data captured from your Oura ring to flow into the Athlete Management System.
Before we start...
For us to collect your data and place it in the AMS we need your permission. We would like this data so your support staff (and you) can track your wellness, sleep and heart rate activity.
To collect this data, Oura needs you to confirm it is OK for us to have this data.
You can disable and re-enable this permission at any time using the following process.
Steps to authorise Oura via the Teamworks AMS Athlete APP:
STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD Teamworks AMS App
Download the Teamworks AMS app via the apple or android store.
App Store for iPhone Users
Google Play Store for Android Users
STEP 2 - Login
Login to your AMS Athlete application on your smartphone.
STEP 3 - ACCESS SETTINGS
Select "Settings" from the bottom right-hand corner.
STEP 4 - CONNECTED APPS
Select 'Connected Apps' from the setting options.
Select 'Oura Ring' button.
Select "Set up Oura Ring"
You will be directed to login to your Oura account: Complete the login and follow the prompts to authorise the connection.
To revoke access to the Oura account, go to the app Settings > Connected apps > Oura Ring and use the toggle to disable the connection.
THAT'S IT!
Once successfully linked, you may close the Oura Connection window. If you are unsuccessful or have any problems, contact your sport’s AMS contact or ams@ausport.gov.au below.
